If you travel with backpack carrier, do you still take a stroller?

We're headed to Maui in a few weeks and are planning on bringing our metal frame backpack carrier. We were also going to be taking our umbrella stroller but DH and I got to talking about whether it was necessary. We couldn't think of an instance that we would use the stroller that we couldn't just use the backpack instead. Plus, it seems like that would be a lot of crap to be hauling through an airport. But, part of me is nervous to not have a stroller. So, if you have both and have traveled, did you bring both with you?

    I don't bring the stroller.  I basically only use the stroller for jogging so when we're traveling I just leave it behind and figure out some other way to exercise (or skip exercising entirely Embarrassed).

    We just got back from PEI (not exactly Maui...but they have sand and beaches ; ) ) and we drug the BOB there and never used it.  I have an Ergo and it was all we needed.
