I have named my breasts

Because of the difficulty in recovering from my surgery I am a few days behind in the breastfeeding department. I am now pumping fine and working with lactation consultants to get DS to latch.

After a frustrating session trying to breastfeed I then feed DS from a bottle and then pump for a half hour. Repeat 8 times a day. My days seem to revolve around my breasts so I decided to name them Bessie and Elsie.

I have found a sense of humor about this is the best way to combat the frustration.

Hey! I was just thinking about you, I hope you are recovering better now. Don't be frustrated. I know how you feel about the BF, my LO would just not latch on for nothing, I had consulted about 5 lactation nurses and we tried every possble position and had almost given up. They blamed it on a short tongue. I fed him nothing but formula for the first week with a little pumping here and there. I decided to try ONE last time after about 9 days and OMG! he latched and was BF. I was totally psyched! DH thinks that the bottle made his jaw stronger ... who knows and I don't care. I'm just glad he's finally BF! YAY! Hope your LO catches on quickly as well.
