I just made shutterfly photobooks from our vacation!

Way.freaking.cool.  Their new tools make creating the books utterly amazing.  Plus, they have 20% off right now.  So I made a 12x12" book for DH and I, and 8x8" books for each of the kids and grandma. 

As a bonus, I have 250 free 4x6" prints in my account waiting for me to use.  Whoot!

    I'm amazed that you already have all your pictures uploaded and then that you had time to make photo books already! Do you sleep? =)

    I tried one about 4 years ago from our wedding and honeymoon and wasn't impressed. I should try it again though....

    I had a couple of hours to kill this morning, and just happened to notice the special they're running.  I sorted the pictures as we went along on our vacation, so it was pretty easy to upload them. 

    From what I've seen, photobooks have made huge progress in the past few years.  The newer ones are pretty darn impressive.  I really, really hope these turn out nice.  I think they'll be a great way to preserve our memories.

    I made an 8x8 one of DD's birthday on shutterfly and it looks GREAT. I was really impressed.

    I use Shutterfly all the time and love their products.  Before DH deployed he got a calendar and a flip book of DS and the dogs (yes, the dogs too).  And then he gets a little 4x4 book everyone once in a while too so he can carry that around in his pocket.  He loves them and they are so easy to make.  The hardest part is getting them uploaded but I LOOOOOVE that they finally have a plug-in for iPhoto that makes it super duper simple.  No longer do I have to sit there and upload each one singly or wrestle with their online multiple upload assistant (which never worked right for me).

    I have a special place in my heart for Shutterfly...they are amazing.  I've always been pleased with everything I've ordered from there...including the 2000 photos I had printed and managed to get free shipping too.

    I used Shutterfly to make wedding "albums" as Christmas gifts for family.  I used the full-bleed layout on every page and then created my own layouts in photoshop.  That was several years ago, though.  I might have to check it out again.

    ArmyQM... I didn't know there was an iPhoto plug-in.  That makes it even more tempting to play with!

    Oh yes, it's WONDERFUL!!!  You should download it.  It makes it so easy to upload photos, it's ridiculously easy!

    love shutterfly. I order from there frequently and always get lots of offers from them, so it's like I can't refuse :)

    and yes, for our vacations instead of printing prints, I do photobooks too.

    LOL -- I have all of 2008's pictures to sort and print.  I just discovered why this isn't done yet.  2008 was a pretty rough year.  Crying   But, I'm DETERMINED to use those free prints, so I'm going to get them sorted and uploaded.  I will, I will, I will! 

    And Bug, I'm happy to bring one of the books to Canning Camp.  If someone can figure out a way for me to share the album from shutterfly, I'll gladly do that, too.

    Ha, you can share the albums....in fact, you can share projects too.  So you can share that book you just made as well.
