Nickname Addy or Addie? (for Adelaide)

I posted a few days ago about the name Adelaide. I think we would use the nickname Addy or Addie sometimes and wanted to get input- how would you spell this as a nickname?

But that's not what you asked. As a nickname, I'd spell it Addie, but the spelling on both is fine. ?

My best friends' daughter is named Adelaide, and no one really ever calls her by a nickname. Originally they were going to do Addie, but decided that with all the Addison's now that it would be too common. They do sometimes call her Ada for short (like Ava but with a d), but really it's mostly just Adelaide.

I like the spelling Addie better.
