TTC after 35

Multi page - Getting caught up - long

Hi Ladies - I took a little break and really missed you!! I decided that I needed some serenity. I forget who had it in their siggy (was it Saver?) but I totally felt the serenity now feeling.   I see that I've missed quite a bit and feel bad for not being around to support all of you wonderful ladies. I know there has been a lot going on but I wanted to try to reply to many of you in this post. I'm not trying to exclude anyone but I wanted to shout out to some of my ladies.

Holly - I saw in a post that you are going for/had your HSG and that DH was having an SA. I hope the results turn out well. Let me know how things are going with your OB. How much longer until you can see an RE? I know, stupid insurance.

CathyMD - How's the clomid treating you? It looks like it helped even out your temps after O.

Char - Holy Cow! I'm so excited for you. I hope the shots aren't making you crazy and that you don't feel like a pin cushion. I wish you tons of follie dust. We'll have to come up with some cheers for your ovaries. How bout this. O-V-A-R-I-E-S Char ovaries know how to grow follies the best!

Baze - I hope all went well with DH's MRI and that everything is ok you are in my T&Ps

FranDog - Glad the RE appt was good and that you have a plan in place. I wish you a truck load of sticky dust!

LizzyB - I'm just so sorry,

QE - Glad to hear you are moving to #3. I really hope the third time is the charm for you.

DNA2 - Sorry you had a stressful day today and that you

Joyful - Sorry to hear about your FSH results but remember that your RE is an "RE" he'll be able to work with you to get you your BFP.

Re: Multi page - Getting caught up - long

  • Hi Xine! I understand taking a break from the boards. I think it would probably be good for me to take a break, but I am obsessed and can't stay away.

I go for the HSG tomorrow. They are having me come in even though it is cd4 b/c we leave for vacation on Sunday and with my early ovulation, we can't wait until I come back.  I didn't think they could do it this early in the cycle (still have a little flow), so I won't be surprised if I end up getting sent home without getting it done tomorrow.  SA was last week, but we haven't heard the results yet.  I think DH is nervous b/c he keeps asking me when we will hear something.

Can't see the RE until the fall. :(  The GYN seems to know what he is doing when it comes to fertility so that is good.

  • Where is vacation?? I puffy heart vacation, it is something I'm really good at. DH said they will call for the results in 7-10 days. The wait is on.

  • Thanks, Mexine.

The question is: Can my RE get me preggers in a way that DH and I can pay for? Hmmmmm... I hope so.

Or, if the universe/god/someone is listening, I'd also be very happy to be one of the "old ladies" who get KU'd au natural after being told it's not very likely.  :)

We'll know more after the clomid challenge, HSG, etc. next week. Hey, if nothing else, getting my fibroid removed should make AF less of a pain - physically, that is.

I totally understand taking a break. I'm not charting this month, as I'm not allowed to get pregnant because I had a rubella shot. ( Life is just too weird.) and I thought about staying away from this board, too. But,  I'm weak! weak!

    I'm glad you're back. :)

  • Hey thanks for asking. The clomid did indeed seem to even out my temps. Weird.

We are going right to IUI now, so that's next!

Like I said in your other thread, it's so great to see you.

I noticed that about your temps too.  Interesting.  Maybe it is a good sign???
