We've got a 16-hr car ride at the end of this month that I'm stressing about. We've got those travel tubs of applesauce (which she LOVES) but is there anything else that will travel well? Ideally something that does not need to be refrigerated or something that won't take up much space in a cooler. We also plan on taking fresh fruit/veggies like avocados and bananas and of course cereal/oatmeal.
I anticipate two full days of eating from this stash - one on the way there and one on the way back. While we're in Nebraska we'll be able to get a little more creative.
TIA!
Re: travel-friendly baby food (not requiring refrig.)
what about taking the smaller jars of gerber/earth's best ect.? As long as they are sealed, you don't have to worry about keeping them cool.
it's late, so if I missed something in your question, just ignore me
Thanks - see, that is so simple, but why did that not occur to me? You're right it's late - maybe that's why my brain is not processing the obvious...
Maevetoo - sending you lots of good-night's-sleep dust for you and that little cutie.
I like the Oatmeal and Applesauce mix myself
