Payback

So, when I was younger, I was a bit of a smartass.  Ok, I was a giant smartass and still am.

Jackson's newest thing?  If he's in trouble, and I am speaking sternly (ok fine, I confess, I yell), he says, "uh mommy? you need to CALM DOWN," or "Calm down please, Mommy."

I'm in for a world of payback.

  • LOL!

I apparently say "in a minute" a little too much. 'Cause every time I ask S to do something nowadays she tells me "in a minute." We're breeding mini-me's.

  • Freaking hilarious!  Kids are so funny.  I accidentally knocked down Carter last week and he told me, "mommy you have to pay attention".

  • Ha!  Girl, you're screwed.

When I yell, Law says "shh!  Nice words, mommy!"

  • I'm constantly reminded to use my nice words.
  • Blaire uses "hush" in the correct context.  I tell my 2 yorkie dogs to hush when they get to yapping.  It started with her telling the dogs to hush, now she tells everyone to hush.

It was very hard having to get onto her last week for telling MIL to hush.  She did it so wonderfully, but I just couldn't bring myself to encourage that type of behavior, no matter who the recipient of the "hush".

  • Ha! Miles tells me to calm down all the time.

His new thing is to say "Okay Azula, calm down". Azula is a character off of Avatar that always yells.. great I feel like an _Ass
