Last night I ordered some indoor lights for my portrait studio in our basement. I have been doing outdoor on location portraits (families, children, seniors, couples) for the last year on the side. Just thought it would be fun to get a light kit and play around with indoor portraits. I purchased a black back drop and a white one last year....now I get to use it with better lights! I did do a girls maternity pictures with some household lights against a black backdrop. They turned out okay but could have been better with the proper lighting. So I?m very anxious to get the lights set up to start experimenting. I also want to track my monthly progress...hoping to get everything prepared by the 16th week at 4 months. I love black and white portraits...and I can?t wait to have dh help take my maternity pictures.

    I can't wait! I purchased two large soft boxes and an umbrella kit... I might go ahead and order a mini boom (for the back of the subject) but I'm going to see what this does for me first.

    I have pics on facebook...just look up Aimee Sieber Photography. They are all out doors.

    I feel like so many ladies on here are involved with photography in some way that it makes me want to do it. ?I'm also always jealous of people with gorgeous home belly pics. ?I have to find some artsier friends :P
