Dentist?

When did/will your DC start going to the dentist? TIA

    We have a friend who is just became a pediatric dentist! I'm so excited. She hopes to be in her practice in the next few months so ds will probably be seen for the 1st time in the fall.

    You just reminded me, I really need to get DS an appt!  Our pedi told me that if we take him to a regular dentist, they usually say 3; but if you go to a pediatric dentist (which is what we plan to do) they want to see them before 3 (even if its just to get them comfortable with the office and go for a ride in the chair!).

    He has not been yet, but he will go very soon, just need to find out new dentist :)

    Her first visit was when she was 16 months and I will continue to take her very 6 months.

    Since I am a dental assistant, DS was at the dentist for the first time when he was about 18 months old.  His first reall check-up was at 3 yrs old.  DD will be about the same age.
