I am baking my best friend's baby shower cake, for tomorrow, and I am trying to think of what to write on the cake. I'm having a mind block and can't seem to think of "the right thing."
Do you say, "Welcome baby ___________" before the baby is here to welcome?? Do you write, "Congrats Mom's name and Dad's name", or is that too "bridal shower-ish?"
Does anyone remember (or have a picture to look at) what their baby shower cake said? tia
ETA: I should add that it's a co-ed shower and her DH will be there, too.

Mine said "Mommy To Be"
It didn't have any words on it.

I don't think mine is going to be of any help. Since ds came two months early, we didn't have my baby shower until after he was born. They put his initals on the cake. Here's a pic:
I had cupcakes, so they didn't say anything.
I was at my friend's shower a few weeks ago and hers said "God's Gift from Above, A Baby to Love". I thought that was a sweet thing to write.
Mine said Congratulations and Good Luck. My mother has a sense of humor.
ETA: It also said Happy Birthday because I was just about to turn 30. Apparently the woman decorating the cake looked at my mother like she was crazy.
My sis in law made mine. I didn't find out what I was having so mine said "Car and Trucks or Ribbons and Bows", all around the round cake and then Welcome Baby in the middle. It also said on the side "Congratulations Ray and Kelsey".
