long sleeve with fold over mittens!!!

WTH you can only get these in newborn? my dd is getting too big for newborn but her nails are really hard to cut and too soft to file. ?i have a ton of short sleeve onseies but i'm nervous she will scratch herself and I hate putting outfits over her head ( i know new mom here) mittens suck! Anyone know where I can find 0-3 button outfits with foldover mittens?

  • I would try different brands of the NB size. I found that the NB size varied a lot btwn brands.

  • We had the same problem. I also found even in the same brand there were some differences in size. The "nicer" Carter's sleepers seem to run bigger than the thinner ones. Also, try to find the ones with no feet. I know that helped us. The length was what was getting too small for us, so the arms and body were okay. The legs started looking like capris on my DD. :)

  • Wait till she's sleeping to cut her nails.  It's easier that way.
  • I found some by Gerber @ BRU, but they are just a long sleeve shirt, they arent a full onesie with buttons at the bottom.  They are 0-3 but a little small for 0-3.

  • DD can still kind of fit into the carters brand NB size ones.  I would try that brand, its my fav.

  • My friend uses these mittens she found at Target. She says they stay on pretty well. They say on the package that they are for preventing scratching. You could even try sewing them onto your LOs bigger clothes.
  • DS slept in the Carters newborn until he was a month old -- about 11.5 lbs
  • baby gap they have the fold over sleeves!
  • I've got a couple of carters onsies 0-3m with them.
