Taking 10 Month Old to Caribbean. What to BRING?

We are going to the Carribean when LO will be 10 months old for 2 weeks.

Now (summer season) is the best time to buy all the sun/beach/pool gear for babies. But, I don't know what products are the best....please help!

So, what do I need?

What are the best beach tents, pool shade (pool tubes with shades on top), mosquito repellent items, etc, etc, etc.

I went to Bermuda with a 9 months old for 10 days and we didn't really use much. A floatie with a sunshade was just about it as far as gear goes. Otherwise, stock up on sunscreen and swim diapers.?

I never even used the floatie in the ocean... and just held the baby but it was handy for the hotel pool.

You could think of beach towels but check with your hotel first... ours had a private beach and they provided the towels which was nice.?
