Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

Dear sweet precious baby girl:

Please stop waking up at 1:00 AM every.single.night screaming, standing in your crib, and carrying on like your dying.  I'm on to your game...I know you are only doing this so you can sleep with mommy.  Though I love cuddling with you, being smacked in the face by your flailing arms and feet is not mommy's idea of a good nights sleep.  So knock it off and sleep in your own crib...Mkay?

Love and kisses,

Tired Mommy

  • Have you tried Ferber or sending your husband in to calm her instead of you?

The minute she sees anyone in her room- she freaks even more.  Standing, stomping her feet, and crying like crazy.  She also cries so hard that she makes herself sick.  I don't think CIO is good for us, which SUCKSSSS.

I understand. I sucked at Ferber. All we had to do to end the nightmare was move her out of our room. But that's not what is going on with you, so I got nothin.

Lizzy I'm there with ya...he slept a little better last night but he will not go down without a fight.  And we can't go in and just comfort him because as soon as he see us...it's an all out fit.

Oh man, I was really hoping that things would go the same for you as they did for us when you moved K.

It went really well for awhile... he went down with out a problem...and would STTN and he did that for a good month and a half!  I was excited, but didn't want to jinx it.  I think my sisters leaving, and him being upstairs by himself now maybe affecting his sleeping IDK, but his week has been really rough.  I am hoping it is just a phase...

  • Andrew didn't sleep very well either. Methinks we may need Red Bull instead of martinis tonight...

I should have called you!!  Maybe it is because your sisters left...I don't know what Addy's deal is.  I've been hunting for teeth and don't see any.

  • I'm sorry....that is no fun. It goes in cycles though, or at least it does at our house....Hudson will be 3 in October and we still have sleep issues pop up with him too. Mostly him fighting sleep more than anything, but still, it can be really frustrating. Last night he stayed up and would not go to bed, he went to bed with me at midnight! I was shocked that he stayed up that long and didn't even have much of a nap yesterday.
