2nd Trimester

are you more likely to have boob leakage...

in your second + pregnancy.

I didn't have any leakage the first time around, but have been feeling the "let down" sensation that I so fondly remember from my breastfeeding days and have been wondering if this means that I will begin to leak collustrum early this time.  Does anyone know the answer to this?

  • No clue, but this is my first and I am already leaking all over the place.  I hope it doesn't come earlier with the second!

  • I had boob leakage with DS, and am already having it this pgcy. I don't know if I had it this early last time- I don't think so, but I really don't remember either.
  • The answer is "yes"...especially if it hasn't been too long since you stopped breast feeding.  I nursed my first son until he was about a year old and I had our daughter when he was 2 1/2...I don't think I had even completely dried up when I got pregnant with her, but come to think of it...we had a miscarriage in between there, so that might be why I never really dried up.  Anyway, I do know that it seems like everything comes earlier the second time (and third, etc.) around.
  • I'm expecting to.  First time around, I could give my nips a quick squeeze and see colostrum, I hadn't even dried up this time from BFing my son.

I didn't have any with my first, and haven't yet this time.. although my boobs are huge and sore today!!

    Sorry, no idea. . .

  • I've had it both times...
