xp: undescended testicle surgery

they finally "found" his testicle today and now we will be scheduling his surgery.i know ive asked before but tell me about it again - your experience.im dreading the whole procedure.  :(

    How old is your little guy?  We went to the urologist with our little guy because his testicles were not fully decended at 9 months and they told us to wait until he was a year and if they were still up then to have the surgery.

    My nephew had this surgery and we were all really freaked out, but everything went amazing.  He didn't seem to be in any pain whatsoever.  In fact, when we got him home, we had to force him to settle down because he was back to normal and running around like a monster at home.

    no experience here but I totally get where you are coming from... DS has too tight of skin between his testicles and penis.... so we are to schedule a surgery to "detach" them.... well the doctor is so busy that it took 2months to get a surgery date... and they wanted to do it 2days before his 1st birthday! so we are postponing it till early next year... I am dreading it as well....

    thank you everyone!

    we have an appt with a pediatric urologist at CHOC in 2 weeks.  maybe it will drop beforehand!  please!!!!
