Am I behind?

in 2nd Trimester

I'll be 22 weeks this Saturday.  Should I have already set up a baby registry?  I'm so lost when I think about it.  I have no idea where to begin!  I haven't even started making plans for the nursery yet.

Is anyone else like me?  If not, when did you register?  How many places did you register at?

I feel like I have alot of time--almost like it's too early to register.  I still don't feel like I'm very far along, though I am a little over half way there.

    I didn't really get into it until about 20 weeks. You're fine- I'm sure you'll be ready when baby gets here!

    Do yourself a BIG favor and get a copu of "Baby Bargains". It was a huge help for me. I read it and made a list of the major things I was going to register for. Then when it came time to register it wasn't a hideous and overwhelming process.

    I registered about 2 weeks ago at BRU and Buy Buy Baby.

    So I don't think you're behind. If you are, I am also. I just bought the change table today, and I started working on the color for the nursery just this week. I have a question tho'...where do you find the Baby Bargains book? TIA

    Your fine. Registering doesn't take that long if you start re-searching about items and bring a friend/fam who has had a baby and can tell you what you really need and don't need. I registered at 20 weeks, but I have been updating it bc items have become out of stock or I found a like item used for cheaper.

    I'm trying to get the most I can get done now bc I hear you get really tired in the 3rd tri and I just wanna sleep and relax.

    The cheapest place I found Baby Bargains is on amazon. You want the one with the green cover- that's the edition printed in 2009. I think I paid around $11 for it.

    You're not behind. We registered at 23 weeks - our first shower is the beginning of August. If you register too early, items you choose may be discontinued. Just be sure to give your shower attendees plenty of time to shop!

      I agree with Baby Bargains.  Also chat with friends or family who you trust who have had little ones recently.  I didn't register until 2 weeks ago (I'm 26 weeks now), and I am planning to start the nursery this weekend.  Good luck!
