My freshly EBM makes LO's breath smell funny. I didn't eat a ton of garlic or anything...what else can make breastmilk smell "potent"? I googled and didn't find anything.

I just realized, I have never smelled my babys breath before. Is it so bad that you can smell it without trying? Or does it just smell like through up / spit up?
Poor smelly baby. I've never heard of this. I googled it and couldn't find anything. Sorry. Interesting though, keep us updated if this means anything.
I just ran through my head what I ate yesterday and a few days ago when it also happened, and both times I ate fish (Tilapia and salmon) about 24 hours before I noticed it. Coincidence? Hm. It's definitely not thrush, her mouth looks fine and my nips are not itchy.
