1st Trimester

What is your exercise regimen??

Hey gals....  Hope you're all feeling good!

I've had absolutely NO energy the whole 11 weeks.  I was on a really good gym schedule before BFP and now I'm so upset I havent gone at all.  Actually I went once and almost fell alseep on the treadmill! I also worry about overdoing it... so I just dont go at all lol.  (makes no sense I know)

Now I'm worried about starting up during 2nd tri, maybe when I get some energy... since I havent been doing anything this whole time, I dont want my body to freak out.

Anyway I need some ideas.  WHAT IS YOUR EXERCISE REGIMEN??

TIA :)

Re: What is your exercise regimen??

  • does typing count as exercise?  if not then i have no regime!
  • Loading the player...
  • hahaa!!! I hear THAT!!!
  • I either combine or do just one of the following depending on my pain level that day:

    20-30 minutes of Wii Fit
    10-15 minutes of walking outside
    10-20 minutes of DDR

I also live in a two-story house with an upstairs bathroom so all the up-down I do on the stairs all day is a pretty good workout itself.

  • About 3-4 times a week, I do the bike for about 20 minutes, then a little strength training and about 10 minutes on the stair climber. I used to be able to do way more but I have zero energy now. Good luck getting back into it, 2nd tri should be much better!
  • I switch off every other day between a 40 minute walk on the treadmill and a pregancy yoga dvd which is very relalxing

  • I go for a daily 3.5-mile walk pushing DS in the stroller (weather permitting).

I didn't work out at all during my last pregnancy and I paid for it...

  • I do strength exercises on my floor three times a week for 30 minutes. No energy to do cardio.
  • I have been so tired that it is hard to get the energy together.  Luckily it has been getting better recently and we have been doing about 20-45 minutes a day of swimming in the community pool.  We also do small walks around our community.  I am slowly adding on more.  Plan on using my Wii fit and active games to get more activity in.

  • 30 - 40 minutes of cardio 5-6 days a week, and then light weight strength training/ toning every other workout.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • I run for 40 minutes 4-6x week. It helps with the nausea and the fatigue.
  • I workout 6 days a week. 3 days are lifting, pretty intense and heavy, but I've tried to lessen the intensity lately, and then the other 3 days are 45 min-1 hr. cardio, either elliptical or walking.  Hopefully I can keep it up, haven't felt too tired, yet....probably just jinxed myself : )
