Might be moving to Washington..

DH got a job offer in Tri Cities, WA and I really want him to take it so he has a job for sure when babys born (his current job ends in Sept). He really wants another job he applied for but doesn't know how long their screening process takes (gov job). That job has multiple locations so he could be offered one in Oregon/Washington/Idaho.

Anywho I want him to take this current job, but he doesn't want to spend moneys moving up there and then get his dream job a month later and have to spend more moneys to move where ever its at. And he doesn't want me moving every month during pregnancy. Ug..any advice on how to handle this stress?

    In this economy I would take any job that he's being offered.  Also, gov't jobs can take forever to fill, because it depemd on the funding.  My Mom is a federal employee and it took almost 2 years form when she was offered her job in Spain, until she actually moved there and started working, because the money was never there.  So, something to think about.

    Sorry that this is happening while you're pregnant... it's extra stress that you don't need!

    I agree.  I know too many people who are not finding ANY jobs.  I would in a HEARTBEAT take the first one!  My girlfriend was going back and forth waiting for an answer for a state job and never ended up getting it.  Was a long process.  You could just put everything thing that is not absolutely necessary in storage and still wait for it but after he takes the other job?
