wood letters or vinyl?
(I have a vinyl cutter, so I can pretty much do it any way with the vinyl)
I bought wood letters from Hobbly Lobby, but after getting baby's furniture, the room has a much more vintage feel to it, and I think the letters are a bit too whimsical.
Please tell me your suggestions/ show me pics, etc!!!
Re: I can't decide on how to do baby's name in nursery..
i had a hard time w/ this too b/c its my 2nd boy and i wanted something different. I choose a stick on wall decal. Its a whale & has in name next to it in cursive...adorable!
I love www.etsy.com; found tons and tons of things on there.
Maybe you do a vintage wallpaper monogram or something similar? Or get some pages from a vintage children's book and put an initial over it in a contrasting color and frame them. Over cover the wood letters in vintage fabric, wallpaper,etc...
I like the wood letters but I think it is just getting way overdone. It seems every nursery has the name over the crib.
you should do something using vintage wallpaper or children's book pages, those ideas are fabulous!!
I'm not that crafty, or i would have made my own...here's the wallpaper letters I bought from land of nod - they were affordable and adorable! I'm just stringing them up on pink satin ribbon.

Wooden letter are so overdone. I really like the wall decals or some other way to put the name up. I'm doing a decal behind the crib in a big framed out area.
If you're going vintage or bringing a little vintage hit up some antique stores. I found some really cool frames and super old childrens books.
