Looking at houses. ?Im so so so excited. ? It will be a crazy short trip and very busy, but I can't wait to find a house. ?Hopefully we find one this trip. ?I don't know how we couldn't love these houses, they are ridiculous compared to the houses we looked at here. ?You definitely get more for your $ in Tx.

Good Luck, and have fun!!!

Take a video camera with you if you can. That helps up greatly when we came down here for our househunting trip. I was not used to the housing market in TX (we are from NJ, so you get a cardboard box $500,000 LOL,) so everything looked great to me. By taping it, we were able to go back and reall figure out what we liked and what we didn't and narrow down the homes.

You will LOVE this area!!! I live in Colleyville and love it soooo much! Maybe we'll be close! I'm so excited for you guys! Ditto on the camcorder/camera! Don't forget a measuring tape either (maybe this will be for a next trip) because we had a difficult time figuring out where all our furniture would go once we narrowed down our houses. And voila! that is how we live in our house we are in now. haha but we ended up getting new furniture throughout the house anyway

Don't forget to look for storage. My house has next to none and that is the thing that drives me up the wall. That and tiny bedrooms.

Yay! We just put a contract on a house in Celina yesterday. It was a lot nicer house than what I was expecting we could get, you can't beat the home prices there. Hopefully close on July 31! Good luck with your househunting... you will be overwhelmed!

We did the same thing at the end of May - pretty overwhelming and busy, but fun too (but you don't have a baby, that made it kinda rough). Hopefully you have a great realtor like us that will pretty much committ him/herself to you while you're here and let you look at as many as you can find!

That is near me! I rarely see people on here that are near me.

Oh that is great! I am excited to get up there and explore the area. It seems really nice and quiet. Close enough to city amenities, but not too far either. I can't wait to join ya'll in some GTG's.
