She was in recovery until about noon and is spending the night at the H. ? ?They did determine it was cancer and did the full mastectomy. ?She is consulting with the oncologist tomorrow morning, but it looks like no chemo or radiation. ? They are going to try a hormone therapy with her.?
On the downside, there are some more concerns about her dementia. ?We are going to talk in the next few weeks about whether or not she can continue to live on her own. ? ?

Oh crap on the dementia...but then again, maybe its a blessing that she will be forced to be in some kind of professional care.Good news about no chemo though......
FWIW, we put my dad in assisted living and it was the absolute best thing we could have done for him. While he wasn't thrilled with the idea and it did take some time to get him there.....he could not have been happier the last 3 years of his life. Hoping this isn't depressing....but maybe its a good thing.
