2nd Trimester

SO I had my CPR training today

it's part of my work requirements.

Anyone ever have to give a dummy compressions while your LO is kicking you?

  • No, but I will! I signed DH and I up for an infant emergency care class. It's CPR, choking and stuff like that. I did it mostly for him as I am CPR certified regularly (I don't think he knows that!).

  • My cert will run out two months after the baby's born but while I'm still on maternity leave.  So I'll have to go back in with the baby to work, which with my company they will prob be cool with it.
  • Haha...yes! I had to renew my CPR license when I was pregnant with DS. I know what you mean :)

  • I had to do mine on Tuesday this week to renew my coaching/student activity permit. Compressions are NOT fun when you have a larger belly, but now I can understand how big fat men feel if they ever have to give someone CPR. Actually, come to think of it, the compressions weren't bad - I just had trouble giving rescue breaths because I had to kneel down and bend over. Thank god my belly isn't very big for how far along I am or I would have been in trouble.
