With a receipt you have 90 days to return for a refund. If it's past 90 days, EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE RECEIPT, they will only give you current selling price.
I understand that they want to protect their profits/margins and reduce clearance merchandise in their stores, but this is absolutely horrible customer service!
I love buying ahead and shopping the clearance racks. Who really wants to pay full price for something their baby is only going to wear for a few months?
It makes me sad because their clothes are really cute.
FYI - Carter's and Oshkosh B'Gosh have no time limits for returns. Carter's and Oshkosh FTW!!!!!

Yeah, I worked retail all through college and this is definitely a standard return policy. It's because they can no longer sell it for that price.Somebody else mentioned Old Navy-they won't even give you the refund in the store....they send you a GC in the mail like 3 weeks later. I think THAT'S a pretty terrible return policy.
On the flip side, I think it's like 10 days after your purchase, if the item goes on sale you can get a price adjustment with a receipt.
Really? When did that change? I always get my refund back on my credit card when I make returns.
I have worked for Old Navy for over 2 years now and I have to say that this complaint really irritates me.
As people said before, you should be glad they accept clearance at all, and the fact that the policy is 90 days is reasonable. If you haven't used the item within the three months then that is your fault, not the retailer's.
Another thing I don't understand is people who think the policies don't apply to them. I had a lady bring in an item and a reciept that was OVER A YEAR OLD! And she still wanted us to take the item back and give her the original purchase price. This is the reason for the 90 day limit and why stores adhere to it.
I don't mean to sound b!tchy but this is some thing I deal with daily and it is irritating.
Yes, and theirs is actually worth complaining about. 10 days!
