Update from the doc

I was feeling pretty well this morning, but everything hit me again around lunch time. I told her all that's been going on. There has been no change, and his head is still floating. She gave me some pain meds (Vicodin Indifferent ...hate that stuff) to get me through the weekend, if needed, even if it is just so I can actually get some sleep, and then I will be back in on Monday morning to see if I've made any more progress on my own. Depending on how things look, she said we can make a plan, and she will induce me if I choose at 38 weeks.

Not sure how I feel about induction, but at least I feel like I have a goal to just make it to that appointment on Monday. If I have a goal, I can deal with all the other crap. We'll see what happens.

One crazy thing that happened...while she was checking me, she sort of gasped, and she said that he grabbed her finger. So she was moving her hand around, and I could feel his hand moving inside. It was kind of cool, but I just thought to myself, "Seriously. You are putting me through all of this, and you're in there messing around!" LOL!

Yeah, that's what I thought! She said that has only happened to her one other time.

You can hang in there! Have your DH pamper you this weekend and stay off your feet as much as you can. Stay hydrated, too.

At my 36w appointment my OB gave me a goal to stay PG until my next appointment. I missed it by 4 hours. DS was born at exactly 37w and he was perfect. Good luck to you!
