Baby K'Tan users come in - need help

Just got my Baby K'tan yesterday. Since DS can't hold his head up well yet, I'm doing the cradle carry & I can't seem to position him in a way where he isn't chin to chest. I'm worried about his airway being constricted. It seems like no matter how I shift him, his head is getting squished.

Any suggestions?

    I found if I had DS's head up a bit higher than his butt it would help....but he always did fine even though he looked squished too. I think they like being cuddly to be honest.

    with my slng i olled a small receiving blanket and positioned it on the side closest to my body..it heped dd not squish her head aginst my body and open up her airways a little more

    and the K'TAN is a wrap right? i used the front carry/kangaroo carry with dd...she was upright and happy

    Good idea, I'll try this. And yes, the K'tan is a wrap. It says not to do the front carries until they can hold their head up their own, & DS is not quite there - a few seconds of holding it up & he starts flopping it over. I'm sure he'll be holding it up very soon though.
