Should I pack them in them in my hospital bag? I have heard most hospitals either won't or can't cut lo's fingernails once they are born for some reason or other. Also anything else you can think of that I may need besides the obvious stuff? TIA
We didn't and we wouldn't have needed it. I'm not sure if they cut his nails, but we were only there for 2 days and didn't need to worry about it till we got home. Their nails are so soft at first that they sometimes tear off on their own. If not, they're not strong enough to scratch very much. You should be fine without.
I'd bring movies. Camera, cell, baby book, sweat pants, tanks, slippers and a robe. Basic toiletries. Something for DH to do and pillows. I think that's all I used....
I don't think you'll miss fingernail clippers if you don't bring them. Definitely bring slippers ... if I didn't wear mine, my feet got so dirty and gross. That's the only thing I can think of.
