I had an US around 12 weeks and the US tech said she wasn't going to officially say it, but she thought it was a boy. I received lots of info that boy and girl parts look alike that early. I'm having another US tomorrow. I was wondering if it'll be a little more conclusive? I really don't care either way, I'm just curious.
I'm mostly excited I get to see the baby! I hope he (or she!! LOL) is sucking his little thumb. What a cute picture that would make hehehehe
Re: US Question
I didn't think that they could tell that early, I thought the absolute earliest was 15weeks, But I could be totally wrong. If the tech guessed than she's going to know best though.
Why do you have so many u/s? I hope everything is o.k.
I had one done at 12.2 and she was 90% positive it was a boy. althought the look similar it's not identical. Boys will point horizontal and girls are all vertical. Low and behold when I had the same tech scan me at like 17.1 it was so darn easy to tell it's a little boy and he's all about showing it off.
It may be possible, but I had one done at 16w and the tech could not tell, but then my big one at 18w they could tell it was a boy, so each tech is different. GL
I had so many at the beginning because I had a m/c history and then it was twins, and they were monitoring them. Everything is fine now
Thank you! The last US at 12 weeks was the NT scan at the Dr. This one tomorrow a friend is doing... I work in Radiology... (ducking my head...)
