Duet DHA Pnv discontinued????

I went to CVS yesterday to get my refill and they told me they no longer make it? I tried Walgreens and same thing. Now I'm on the mission trying to get a hold of my doctor's office for him to call in a new one. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I am taking Duet DHA PNV. I just got the prescription a couple of weeks ago. That is weird. Did they tell you why it was no longer being made???

    I have always taken over the counter PNV. They are cheaper and work just as well. At least for me.

    Ugh, I hope not!! They ALWAYS change something though and i ALWAYS end up having to wait a couple days before they fill it cause they have to clear it with the doc so maybe that's the case??

    If you find out it is discontinued please let us know.  I love them and I have a boat load from mail order.  I don't want to take them if something is wrong.

    is that the one with the two separate pills - the fish oil and the vitamin?  those were pulled a couple months ago, at least according to my OB.

    Apparently they're just not carrying it at those pharmacies anymore. My husband just went to Walmart and they have it there. They told him it would take 2-3 days to transfer my prescription (why????? can it possibly be that difficult) but they do have it. It's not discontinued, just CVS is not carrying it for some reason.

    This is what my doctor gave me as a sample but when I filled the prescription they gave me Pruet DHA.  Apparently the did stop making the Duet and this is the replacement.  Doctor said it's the same thing.  Only problem is that the pills are larger than the Duet DHA and that makes it a little harder for me to take them.

    My pharmacist actually switched me to a different prenatal vitamin (of course with my doctor's approval) because Duet discountinued this product twice in the past 4 months.

    They have a generic, that's supposed to be the same, but it's not.

    I would suggest trying Prenate DHA. I actually like it much more, because it's only one pill instead of 2 and it's so much easier to swallow!
