speaking of poo - did anyone see Obsessed?

Its sort of like Intervention, but w/ people w/ OCD.

This poor women ate as little fiber and fruit as possible so she wouldn't have to poo.  When she did poo, it was a 4-8 hour event - cleaning the whole bathroom before, then a long shower, w/ several enemas, and she used a TOOTHBRUSH clean herself inside and then clean the bathroom again.  OMG

It was so sad and icky.  and, her poor husband didn't even know about this until AFTER they were married - talk about a post-honeymoon surprise.  They'd had to go the hospital several times b/c she's puntured herself. 

OMG - her whole life revolved around NOT pooing.

    I'd rather be dead. That's horrible. I couldn't imagine feeling that way.

    i've only seen that show a few times (i don't think it's as good as intervention)...

    but what you're saying is, she stuck a toothbrush UP her BUTT to make sure she was extra clean?!?!?!?!

    I saw this episode! The woman was nutso. She actually made progress in the end. Yeah... she went to the hospital because of loss of blood due to the toothbrush ritual. Gross. And sad.

    Poor woman.  I remember watching a video on OCD in my Abnormal Psych class in college and how crippled some people are by it.  So sad. 

    I gotta say, though, how oblivious was the husband to not clue into her 4-8 hour pooping event until after they were married?  That doesn't seem like something you confess to your husband... that's something they should have noticed AWHILE ago.

    I'm going to go ahead and assume she is never going to give her Dh the green light to try anal.

    Poor woman.

    meh - if you only poo'd once or twice a week - you could keep it on the DL for a long time.
