The specialist's office called me this afternoon, only a few hours after my appointment where I got this not so great news ( cyst on baby's brain ). I was surprised I will be seeing them so quickly, especially since everything I have read says it takes a few weeks for the cysts to go away. Please keep us in your prayers that no other abnormalities are found.
They are having me come in for the level II u/s tomorrow morning at 11:15am. No mention of having a full bladder, so I'm not going to do anything special, hopefully that will be fine!
Thanks for all the encouraging words this afternoon, I will post an update tomorrow

libertadw, we did not get an AFP test or a first trimester screen. I didn't want to worry unneccesarily as I have had many friends with false positives/high risks when their LOs were born healthy. Guess worry can't be avoided as a Mom!
My Dr actually said she wouldn't bother with a blood test for the same reason at this point...
We have a cpc cyst too. We have a follow up appt in a few weeks.
Hope all goes well for you!
And, for a level 2 us, they don't want you to have a full bladder. they actually had a sign in our office to empty the bladder!
