Boy or girl? or unknown?

A friend was telling me that she read tha expectant moms are right about the baby's sex more than 70% of the time. What's you're guess? And do you believe in mother's intuition on this, or is it wishful thinking?

I guess this is just mother intuition. I really want a girl (would be happy either way of course) but I just have this strong feeling that I am having a boy. I just know it - at least I have a 50% of being right.

I think we are having a boy. I was right with my DS. I just can't picture us with a little girl (not that I don't want a girl, just a happy and healthy baby would make me proud)

I think boy, dh thinks girl, but it may be too early to tell.

Last time, I thought girl until about 12 weeks, then got strong sense of boy. It was a boy.

I had a strong feeling it was a boy the first time, and was shocked to find out it was a girl. I'm feeling boy again this time, because of our intercourse timing, and just because this pregancy is 95% different then my pregnancy with dd. We shall see!

Well, my dad is just dying to have a boy....since he only has me & my sister and she has 2 girls and I have one girl...this is his last chance. So for sure it will be another girl, bc that is how life works, right? haha.

^this. I think DH only thinks it's a girl because he wants a boy so bad and doesn't want to get his hopes up. Of course we will both be happy no matter what the gender is!

A girl. I think it's a little bit of intuition and wishful thinking for me. I definitely don't feel a boy vibe, but I'm also scared to *think* it's a girl. I'm afraid I'll get my hopes up and be crushed. Don't get me wrong, I would love a third boy just as much...but I can't imagine never having a daughter, and this IS our last child.

I am thinking boy but I wouldn't call it mother's intuition just yet. We are about 95% sure about our boy name but no where near having a girl name so Murphy's Law says it'll be a girl, right?

I was 90 percent sure that I was having a girl last time- and I had a BOY. this pregnancy has been very similar to my last- even my food cravings are the same- a little more nauseous than I remember. I think I may be having another boy.

DH family is all boys. His grandpa, uncles, dad, and cousins all had boys and only boys so he is convinced it's a boy. I have had 2 dreams and in them it was a boy (wrapped in a blue blanket), but this may just be rubbing off from DH.

I was right with my ds - thought he was a boy from the beginning

I think this one's a girl, but hell I've got a 50/50 chance of guessing right so I don't think it's mother's intuition - my mom has six kids and guessed wrong on nearly all of them

DH and I have both thought this would be a boy from the start. Now that we know we're having identical twins, he's holding strong for a boy. If the Shettles method holds true, it may be girls.. but I still have a 'gut feeling' (excuse the pun) that it's boys.

I'll be thrilled either way!!

I don't have a strong feeling either way yet. As of right now I am thinking girl, mainly because everyone on DH's side of the family has girls first. If we had a boy first we would be the first. Also the heartbeat was 170 which is suppose to mean girl. But I am not totally convinced yet that I think it is a girl.

I wasn't sure with the last pregnancy, this time I feel strongly it's a girl. I feel completely different during this pregnancy, so I guess that's my only reason.

at first, I was thinking girl...pregnancy is completly different that that with DS...but now, Im not sure...I can see us with two boys....im torn this time...last time I KNEW boy

I think it's a boy, based on intuition. I felt I was having a girl with my first pregnancy. For curiosity and fun's sake I did that needle/ring test and it also said boy. lol! Don't worry, I know that method is highly unreliable!

Based on the timing on when we conceived, it should be a girl. However, I really don't have a gut feeling yet.

I knew for sure that my first was a girl. I had always wanted a boy first, but grew excited up to the U/S because I knew they would finally reveal my intuition. I was right, a beautiful baby girl.

This time I believe it is a girl, however, it is not as strong a feeeling as the first time. I think part of me is clouding it because I think it'd be nice to have one of each. I can't get that crystal clear feeling yet.

i'll really be happy either way obviously, but i think it's a boy. my younger brother did the whole needle on a string deal over my stomach and concluded that it was definately a boy....hopeful lil uncle

I think I'm having a boy and I think it's mothers intuition because I want a girl. (but a boy will be fine too) Also my mother is thinking boy too and she has predicted every birth in our family (22births total) and has only been wrong a couple of times.
