1st Trimester

For those who charted while TTC

I got in such a habit of checking CM and cervical position while I was TTC that I still do it occasionally. Anyways, I've noticed that I have tons of creamy CM (which I would expect since that's caused by progesterone).

But I also noticed today that my cervix is REALLY low and hard. I'm guessing that's a good thing (it makes sense). But I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

  • I've noticed the increase in cm, too. Never checked cervical position while TTC so can't help you out there.

  • I can relate to the creamy CM, but I didn't check my cervix.

Try to keep away from your cervix if possible.  It is very sensitive during pregnancy and you could actually cause spotting by checking it.

That's good advice. Thanks. Actually this is the only time I've touched it and I didn't mean to. That's how low it is!
  • Creamy CM - yes definitely.  Pantyliners are my BFF right now.  Low and closed CP has to be a good sign, right?

    LOL!
  • If I remember correctly, as your pregnancy continues, your cervix will get higher and higher until you can't reach it.  I would expect it to move around and change as the pregnancy hormones ebb and flow, especially in the beginning.
