  We used Kangaroo Korner slings in the beginning after our doulas recommended them.  I know most people like Moby wraps, but they were intimidating to me.  I also know most people love Ergo carriers, but I could never get it to feel great.  I sold it and got a Beco instead.  I'd buy a sling or wrap first and then try on a carrier once the baby is here so you can see what works best for you and the baby.

  I bought a Hotsling and could NOT figure out how to position the baby correctly in it!  It was really frustrating to me. 

  So then I bought a Baby Bjorn (I bought the "air" one, lighter weight for summer time) and I love it, and baby loves it.  I put her facing me and she falls asleep in it.  I've only faced her out once so far, and she didn't like it as much, I don't think.  But I really like the Bjorn overall, especially for Costco and grocery shopping, it's wonderful to have my hands free, and i don't like her sitting in her carseat all the time.

  MY DH loves the Kangaroo fleece wrap, it's comfy to him. It was too hot for me.

  I love wrapping our LO up in the moby...he is so snuggly. Now that the weather is hot I made a moby-like wrap out of T-shirt fabric! Much cooler for the hot days...

  We love the moby. DS is 18+ pounds now and is squirmy but he still loves riding around in it (both facing in and out). It is super comfortable.
