2nd Trimester

Where do you feel your LO kick?

I am 16 weeks today and my Dr. said that any day now I should start to feel my LO kick!  I can't wait.  I sit and feel for him/her every day.  This is gross but some times I can feel a little movement, but then I fart, so I know it was just gas instead of a kick!

Where did you first feel the kick/flutter?  Low in your pelvis?  Closer to your belly button?  All over the place?

TIA.

Re: Where do you feel your LO kick?

  • My first movements were felt really low.  Just in the last couple of days I've begun to feel him higher, near my belly button.

  • I have been feeling it all over the place.  Sometimes it's low and on the left side, other times it's right below my belly button.  It's awesome!
  • just so you know, it can be like 6 more weeks until you feel your lo.. i just didn't want you to freak out if you don't feel anything for the next few weeks.?

i usually feel her really low, but sometimes as high as my belly button. ?hth!?

  • Between 17-19 wks I would feel flutters, when I touched my stomach.  It wasn't until 20wks that I felt the baby kick, right beneath my belly button.  It was funny because for a quick moment there, I thought it was gas (and I knew it really wasn't), and then I realized that it must have been the baby kicking.

  • I have little, mini, barely able to feel, muscle twicthes about half way below my belly button.  I feel them more now when I am sitting in a recliner.
  • I didn't start feeling him until just a couple of weeks ago. The first little kicks were pretty low, now they are more all over the place.
  • Yeah, the first movements started out really low for me, too. Like, right above my pubic bone. Right now my LO is laying horizontal, so I feel her head move on my right side and her feet on my left-- each just above where my ovaries are (or where I imagine them to be).
  • lower in pelvis on left side. Now, I feel him all over.
  • I still feel LO (right now actually!!) move around below my belly button. Sometimes off to the side, but still lower in my abdomen area.
  • I feel my baby on the lower left side.  Monday at my monthly appointment, that is where the heartbeat was found.  As a pp said, don't freak if you don't feel anything.  I mostly only feel my baby when I'm sitting at my desk at work.
  • I have an anterior placenta so i won't feel the kicks really until 22 weeks, but i have felt them twice, they just are to the right.
  • At 16-18 weeks they were really low -- so low it was like I had to stick my hands down my pants to feel them (when they were strong enough to feel on the outside, that is).

Now, baby knows how to work the stage. He's a ninja. Below the ribs, on the bladder, right on my cervix and then on my belly button. Enjoy the flutters!

  • The first flutters were felt low in my pelvis on my right side. Now they're full on kicks that are all over the place!
  • At first they were low they moved to around my belly button. Now it's where ever she feels?like?kicking me.
  • I mostly feel LO about the height of my hipbone.  Lower than my belly button for sure.  Hope you feel it soon.  It's incredible!

  • I didn't feel her until 23wks so I knew for sure by then and it was in the middle of my belly when I was laying on my side in bed.

    This!

I can tell how much bigger he is, because I'll feel something low and to the left, then a right at my belly button a second later!

  • His first movements were low, on the bottom curve of my bump, at about 18 weeks.  Now, it's everywhere at any given time, even all at once.

  • I can't wait to feel my first kick!  I have felt a few flutters I think so far and that is it.
  • Our LO has been hanging out around the belly button lately, but I do feel movement/see movement all over.
