How is bf going? getting any better? are you pumping? introducing any bottles yet? how is your baby sleeping?
that's my 20qs for the day. lol!
Just wondering because bf is getting better on my right side but left still hurts like a mofo. I've started pumping and DH gives her a bottle at night to give me a break. DD sleeps mostly during the day but is awake from 12am to 4am. She eats a lot. about 45 minutes each feeding and gets hungry every 1.5 - 2 hours. Will eat about 2 to 3 oz which seems like a lot. At her last check up, she gained a pound in five days. Her ped was so amazed, he wants to see her again next week.

Hey! That's a huge weight gain! Dang!
I'm finally starting to feel "okay" with BFing. The pain has gotten a lot better. There were times I was seriously ready to quit, but now I'm happy I stuck it out. Hopefully it will continue to get better and the pain will soon go away entirely.
BF is going better for me. I have a clogged duct on my right side and so that side hurts and it has been 2 weeks of that and it hasn't gone away. I hope it goes away so it doesn't become infected. I am doing everything they tell me to do.
I am pumping each morning to build up a stash. We are going to start to introduce a bottle and DH will start giving her one at night. She is gaining weight and doing really well so I am sticking with it so far. I was told that 2-3 oz was normal and good. I go to a BF clinic once a week and she has already gained 2 lb since birth in th efirst month.
She eats every 2 hours and cluster feeds at night before going to bed and then sleep for 3-4 hours. Although it varies. I am hoping it will be more regular soon.
