You need to start working NOW so she doesn't continue to get day and night confused. Even though she's up during the night, try to keep it dark and quiet. Expose her to light during the day. If you keep at this, she'll be up more during the day and less at night.
Her schedule is backwards. It happens to almost every baby. Let her sleep when she wants during the day but keep the room light with noise and at night keep the room dark and quiet. It'll take a few days but she'll get the idea. Don't try to keep her awake, she'll just become crabby and overtired. GL
My DD was like this too at first! Try to make sure that when she does sleep during the day it's in a well-lit room and when she sleep at night it's in a fairly dark room, so she can distinguish between night and day better. It's just one of those things that come with new babies, but hang in there. It gets easier!
it takes babies a little bit to get their days and nights straight. we wole up DD for feedings and did a lot of skin to skin contact (this makes them aware of food nearby ec) so they will be in a semi awake state. DD got her days and nights straight about 4 weeks....it supposed to take a few weeks or so in order for that to happen (at least that is what i found out through researching it)
Ditto pp to let LO sleep but keep days light and bustling and nights dark and quiet. Exposing them to UV light in particular during the day is good. DD still sleeps a lot during the day and doesn't STTN, but we could tell that her schedule got onto day/night around 2-3 weeks.
