41w, 12 days: Did stripping membranes actually WORK for anyone?

I'm having this done today (I'm 41 weeks and 12 days, now!). They wanted to do it Monday but I wanted to wait and give the full moon a chance to do it's stuff.

I'm also having lots of sex, walking, red raspberry leaf tea, and evening primrose oil orally and vaginally. So far just lots of BH contrax. They will want to induce soon if the membrane sweep doesn't work.

Has this worked for anyone?

    oops, I meant 12 days over due date, not 41 weeks 12 days. But that's what it FEELS like! Sad

    It worked for me at 39 weeks.  My dr did it at my 39 week appt and I went into labor the next morning.

    Worked for me, had mine stripped at 40w,3 days...went into labor that night, delivered the next day :)  GOod Luck!

    It worked for me with my second son. Had him by the next morning.
