wedding??

I know i should be on the knot for this question, but if you think about it everyone on that site are engaged and not married, but...

Where is a good place to have a luncheon wedding reception(11-4pm) for 50-60 people? I want a simple reception for a small group of people, trying to save on cost, and was wondering where is a good place for this. I really like to have one outside if that helps, especially the beach... thanx any?response?would help alot. It would be in late May early june, so decent weather...

    My husband and I got married at Indian Lakes Resort in Bloomingdale last year.  We had our cocktail party before the reception out on the patio next to the golf course that was beautiful.  I think it's a Hilton now.  Check out their website for pics.

    My husband and I had our reception in Frankfort (so it may be a drive if you live near the city). It was at Green Garden Country Club. It's a golf course with a great restaurant. It was beautiful. We got married in November, so we had it inside with a fireplace. The staff was wonderful, and they even let us take a golf cart out onto the course for pictures. It was cheap, but delicious and beautiful.

    I've heard that the 63rd street beach house (a part of the Chicago park district) is really nice.  I don't know if it's expensive or not.  Hope that helps!
