I was just wondering if anyone has used this bedding. I love it, but wonder what it would look like with light blue paint? WDYT?

Re: Anyone Use Love Bird by Bananafish?
We are not finding out the baby's sex, so I am considering this for a girl and another set for a boy. My wonderful mom will order the bedding when we say "Its a ???!"
The plan is to paint the walls a pale beige with white chair rail. Our furniture is cherry.
I'd love to see your rooms as you work on them.
This is the bedding set I fell in lurve with. I'm not a fan of the pink in it but I plan on swapping out the sheets for something NOT pink. I plan on putting a tree decal on a wall in the nursery and I was thinking about painting the walls a really light green. Now I'm wanting to paint them a light blue to bring more of the blue out in the bedding set. I like that it's not frou frou girly girl but it's still girly and cute.
I actually found it cheaper here though. Another bumpie posted this a few days ago and I bookmarked it. I'll order this set very soon.

I love this bedding!!! I haven't seen it in person but I wanted to ask a question to those who have. I wanted the nursery to be pink and light green. Will this set go w/ pink and light green?? It looks very yellowy. I have lots of time to decide but I was just curious.
Thanks everyone! We're in the process of remodeling our upstairs and the bedrooms are next. I'm not pregnant yet, but we're TTC & hoping for the best. We would really like to get the bedrooms painted before we refinish the hardwood floors, and since right now, that's on the schedule before a baby, I just wanted to make sure the bedding sets I love would both match with light blue for the first bedroom.
I would absolutely love to see pictures of everyone's finished nurseries whenever they get them finished... Maybe I'll have to follow some new blogs!

Ours hasn't come in yet, but I read some online reviews from buyers and one mom said that the background color is much more off-white/cream in person...not the yellowy color that it appears online. She said she was very pleased with the more cream color background.
I am ordering this set in September and am putting up white wainscotting then painting the above blue. I also registered for a blue crib sheet that I'm hoping will go with the bedding to change it up a bit.
It's nice to hear the reviews on it, to know it's as nice in person as you see on line.
We just ordered this set yesterday and the room in our house for the new baby is already pale blue. I don't want to make my husband paint over it so I'm adding green rolling hills at the bottom and a tree decal or mural on the big wall. I'm doing the valance that goes with the set and pink drapes behind that. I think I'll add some green and cream leaves on the tree along with pink and darker blue flowers. I'll post a pic when done..... I love the nesting phase! I get so much done!
