I was wondering the same thing. Is is because he named his kids the same thing and the youngest one was the one he dangled over the balcony with a blanket on his head? ::totally making that up but that's what I think::

OMG! that's horrible that is how he got the NN. I mean, I am watching the tribute, who knows why, but I am... and Brooke Shields referred to him as blanket, so I assume that is what the family calls him.

On my honeymoon, we were in Berlin, and one of the "tourist" places that was pointed out to us what the hotel that MJ dangled him from. serioulsy.

Karina should be called diaper then because if I give it to her to hold while changeing her diaper, it keeps her from rolling over for a little bit.... clean diaper though and it is the only that works.

Michael claimed that a blanket is a blessing, and you should wrap your child with warmth and love like a blanket. Because when you name 2 of your kids the same name, you have to figure out some way to get the right one to come when you call...imagine what happens in the George Foreman household...

But seriously, it's not from the balcony episode. During the infamous Martin Basheer interview, Michael said that they call him blanket, because a blanket is something you love, or some blather like that.

Like Dr. G, I'm not really one to judge, I call DS "Bean".
