Bedtime Routine

I am trying to establish a bedtime routine for my 5 month old. Can you please share what you do that works.

Do you offer a bottle, then give a bath, or vice versa?

    Starting around 7:30pm, after playtime, I do a bath, then rock with her and sing/read to her until she starts getting fussy, and give her a bottle.

    I always make up the bottle before her bath, that way it's immediately available for her & we can stay in the rocking chair :)

    It takes her about 15 minutes to polish off a bottle, I change her diaper & put her to bed.

    We've just started but it seems to work. At about 7:30 she gets a bath (every other night). By 8:00 she has a bottle. Sometimes she falls asleep eating and others she finished by 8:30. Regardless I always rock her for about 10 minutes. Then place in the crib sleeping or not. Doesn't take her long to doze off.

    We start between 7:30 and 8 and do a bath every night, then a bottle and a book.  Sometimes she is out by the end of her bottle other times we get two short books read and then I put her in her crib.  If she isn't asleep when I put her down she quickly puts herself to sleep.  We have been doing this since 6 wks.
