Aversion to all food = m/s?

I didn't have m/s with DS but I did have some food aversions (mainly green vegetables-weird, I know).

Lately, I'm not hungry at all. I eat for energy and even that's a struggle most of the time.

I thought 4 weeks was too early for m/s. For those that have m/s, does this sound like a pre-m/s symptom? I have been a little gag-y but that comes and goes.

Oddly enough, I can not drink enough cold water (warm makes me gag). If I don't have water close at hand I feel like I'm going to die of thirst. WTF?!

  • Technically I have always heard m/s doesn't start until about 6 weeks but everyone is different and i have heard some people who are 4-5 weeks claiming they have m/s so it could be.

6 weeks is the average... m/s can crop up anytime.

And it does sound like m/s - poor thing!

  • Is it weird that I'm a little happy it could be m/s? I've had no symptoms (it's still super early) and my mind has started to play tricks on me.

Then again, ask me again in 2 weeks when it's in full swing... Ick!

  • I started mild food aversions at 5 weeks.  Those increased and I added nausea at 6 weeks.  Weeks 7-9 were not good for me.  I'm in week 10 now, and the food aversions/nausea seem to be less intense.  I know what you mean about forcing yourself to eat.

I have the green vegetable problem too.  For two weeks, I couldn't look at a salad without gagging.  Which is weird, because I usually love veggies, plus salad is pretty mild as far as taste goes.

  • My m/s began as food aversion to dairy, made my stomach extremely upset. Then yesterday, I didn't feel well all day & this morning I threw up. Right now though, any food is an aversion. It was all I could do to eat chicken noodle soup & rainbow sherbert for dinner.

  • I felt gaggy and grossed out by everything right about 4 weeks and couple days too!  then nausea and food aversions just got worse and worse until last week....finally letting up!!  But ya, that is just how I felt at that time too!
