Just curious to how much people spend on their groceries each week. I feel like I spend so much for 3 people...2 adults and a toddler. I spend about $100-$125. So how much do you spend and how many people?
$50 for two adults and a toddler. However, I do alot of couponing and shop at multiple stores for deals. We stockpile on staples when they are a good price. We base our weekly menu on what is on sale that week.
I have no idea what I spend, but I feel like it is a ton -- probably about $150 or more. I buy so much food as I am always trying new things to see if I can get Lily to EAT. So far, pretty much everything ends up in the trash.

I guess I need to do more coupon cutting. I used to be alot better but now with a kid and working FT during the school year it's hard. But now that I am off for the summer I am going to do coupons more! Thanks for the reminder!
$75 for 2 adults, a toddler and a dog. :-)Sometimes I get in the checkout line with my stuff and I swear it will be cheaper that week but it is almost always within $5-10 of $75.
I probably spend between $125 and $150 per week for me, DH, and DS. But this also includes non-food items like toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper products, diapers, etc.
It's a lot of money... *sniff sniff* But I'm too lazy to clip coupons. lol
My goal is $60/wk for the three of us; that includes everything from paper towel to fresh veggies to shampoo.?
Lately it's been out of control at closer to $90-$100 as I've been cooking more and buying new/expensive ingredients. DH is also allergic to wheat and gluten-free foods are expensive!
I also work full time and also thought it was too much work to coupon. But after several financial situation I was forced to cut back. I have found the following sites very helpful with couponing

Both are forums where people share deals at local stores. it has been a great help for me.
$175-200/week for Ben, DH, our (16 yo) daughter and I. We eat a lot of produce, so I'd say at least $40 of that each week is just produce.
ETA: plus, I buy as much organic produce as I can. So, that adds up. I know it's more expensive than regular produce, but I'm willing to pay a little more. Same thing with milk and a few other items that I will only buy organic versions of. It's important to me, so I pay a little more. No biggie.
I also forgot to add that I always use coupons for the things that we buy on a regular basis and when something that we use all the time is on sale, I stock up.
For the month of June I spent $187.56 including diapers, all household items, toilettries, etc. That breaks down to about $47.00 a week and this is for DH, DS, myself, and sometimes my step-daughter. I obsess about coupons though. Also, in all fairness I have been clipping coupons and stocking up on sales for so long that I don't have to buy things unless they are at great prices (except milk and diapers).
We fall in the middle somewhere. between $60-$80 a week for DH, DD and myself. This does not include diapers, formula and wipes as I buy those at Costco. I do coupon and shop sales but don't obsess about it and we eat out on average 2-3 times a week so I don't cook every night. And I eat lunch out almost every day

Lately it's been between $125-$150 a week and that does NOT include pet food, paper products, cleaning supplies, etc.
I honestly don't see how people can spend so little. I spend about $30 each week alone on milk, eggs, yogurt and cheese! Probably another $20-30ish bucks on meat (which I generally only buy on sale), and $40-$50ish on produce plus all of the other miscellaneous things (canned goods, pasta, flour, sugar, beans, etc.)
I spend about $35/week for 2 adults and 1 toddler....
dh works evening so he is only home 2 nights/week for dinner. otherwise he brings soup or sandwich or they eat out somewhere (so that's a different $$$)

too much! $150-200 for DH, DS and myself. we buy a lot of organic and we cook most of our meals. I usually work from home so we always eat lunch at home. Now that I'm pregnant it will only go up.

We spend about $75/ week but I go every 2 weeks and always save around $50-$60 in coupons and in store deals. I also buy all organic including meat, fruits and vegetables as well as any food DD eats exclusively.

I must know how to save $50 with coupons! I don't even have that many coupons!
It averages to around $100-$150 every week and I even use coupons!
But we only eat out 1x per week so this covers all breakfasts/ lunches/ dinners/ snacks for the 3 of us.

We typically average between $80-125, it varies depending on whether or not we're out of dishwasher detergent or dog food or other higher cost items, but I think 9 times out of 10 we work out to an average of $100ish. I cook typically 5 nights a week, sometimes 6, Sierra eats all organic (and boy can she eat!) and we like to have a case of beer in the house at least once a month Granted, that'll probably change now w/ the bfp but... it was nice while it lasted.
We spend about $120 a week on groceries without coupons. This isn't including diapers, wipes, or other random baby supplies. My husband is very picky about what we eat- so no hydrogenated oils, no high fructose corn syrup, organic meat/eggs/dairy. It makes it extremely hard to use coupons, but we have it down to a science as to which brands we can get and follow the "rules."
Thanks, ladies! I guess since we eat at home most nights, unless we go to my parents and we eat a ton of fruit and veges since DS loves them, the bill is pretty average. The $100-125 includes dinners, lunches, breakfasts and snacks.

Probably $125 - $150. We also eat out once or twice and get takeout once. I feel like we waste a lot of food.
