my friend's fiancee is in labor at 25 weeks. she has been on bed rest and they cant keep him in any longer. :(ive offered support but is there anything specific i can do to support them? the baby is coming today and i have no idea what condition he will be in.im praying but would like to do whatever i can.

they are probably going to be making lots of trips to the hospital once the baby is born and the mother is discharged. you can offer to drive them to the hospital or even offer them gas gift cards or gift cards to any fast food/restaurants that are near the hospital. a home cooked meal delivered to their home might be nice as well.

Ditto! Maybe even snacks, brownies, cupcakes.

My guys were preemies and I agree with the pp. Gift cards to restaurants that are right by the hospital, gas cards, and frozen dinners are all great ideas. My thoughts are with your friend, having a preemie is a very scary experience.?

Wow...that is scary. I hope everything goes well. I might recommend a coupon for Restaurants on the Run or something similar so they can order up dinner to the house one night.

update on baby - he was born at 2am this morning. 1lb 9oz 12.5"

I'm a tad late but my son was born with almost those exact stats. Hope mom & baby are doing good. Ditto the pp... food is excellent!!!! disposeable camera, journal, pen, stationary, magazines, etc. are also very helpful.
