Well, I told my boss.

I told my boss we're having IUI.  Her first question was, "How long is that gonna take?"  So after a quick run thru of the appts, she said "Okay well let me go, I'm in the drive thru."  Hmmm...not sure how to take that.

BTW, today is day 1 so I just left a msg for the nurse for further instructions.

    That was kind of rude of your boss.  Best of luck with your IUI cycle.  I should be starting mine any day now too.

    I agree it was rude but did you know he was in the drive thru?  Maybe you should have waited to tell him in person.  You know him better than us ...maybe he would have reacted the same way in person.  Sorry, that stinks.  Good luck with the IUI.

    She actually doesn't work in my office so I kinda had to tell her over the phone.  And no, didn't know she was in the drive thru.  Kinda irks me though!

    That was rude of her!  But then maybe she did not fully comprehend what you told her since she was getting food.  Hopefully she'll redeem herself later.

    UGH!  What a miserable response.  I guess at least you know that you're a valued employee!?!

    I know...it's probably kind of hard to tell with a boss like her.

    Regardless...GOOD LUCK WITH THE IUI!

    Sorry the boss was insensitive.  Glad you got it over with anyway.  Good luck with the IUI!
