Child Care Q's for Portland??

Hi Ladies! I know I am way too early to be thinking about this but DH and I are trying to set up a budget and just get prepared.  We live in the pearl district but I work in SE  Portland.  I have not decided yet what we will do about care for a LO once my leave is over.  I would love to stay at home but really don't know if that will be an option until summer comes again.  My question is 1) do you have any recommendations for lic. care? 2) do you know any moms on the board that take on LO's (I am more comfortable with this situation).  Thanks in advanced!! I am just trying to be prepared in case I can't stay at home when the time comes!!!! Happy Sunday!!!

    You're actually not too early... the places we looed at had 8-12 mo waitlists.

    Multnomah county has a website with licenced daycares. Hopefully someone has the link...
