We've flown quite a bit with DS but the last time was when he was less than a year and not nearly as vocal. Tips for our flight in 2 weeks are very welcome! I doubt he'll take a nap like he has before, but we do have a not-too-long direct flight. Did you buy new toys, favorite snacks, what? He doesn't walk yet, and will be a lap passenger.

Re: Flying with an active, LOUD child...?
i would bring some favorite and some new snacks, some type of carrier like an ergo and i'd let ur ds watch all of the tv he wants.
we went to australia last year (3 flights & 25+ hours) and the return flight was 10x harder than going there. dd is very loud and screamed a lot and i felt really bad for the people around me. we just had to walk her up and down the aisle to keep her content.
also definitely request bulkhead seats if possible. we set down a blanket in front of us and let her play w/toys and books.
