Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

I look skinny until I sit down....

lol, when I sit I get this roll over the top of my pants.......so brutal.  After lunch I feel like I'm 5 months pregnant.  I need to get off my butt, seriously.  Where do you find the motivation?  I always feel soo tired after I put ds to bed and I am not a morning person either.

  • Get a running stroller and start hoofing it around the block a few times every week. Who says you have to wait until he's in bed??

  • Maybe do a workout DVD at home while the little one is napping?  I tried that and totally screwed up my back (I have a bad back anyway) so be careful, lol! 

    I totally know what you mean, though... I'm about 25 lb less than I was pre-preg and when I sit down, it's just GROSS.  Well, my stomach is gross when I'm in any position, but sitting down is the worst!  I noticed the one lady on ABC, Juju Chang, who had a baby right around when I did, is the same way, so I felt a wee bit better!  hehe

  • I find it hard to make time, I am out the door for work by 8am and not home until after 6pm.  I guess I don't care that much or I would make the time somehow.

  • I am kind of the same way.  I started working out at 7pm right after ds was in bed.  I did cut into time with dh, and I had to let a few things go around the house, but for the most part it worked out well.  Of course then we went on vacation, moved, got pregnant and miscarried so that kind of threw things out the window.

    Go for a walk on your lunch break and take DS for strolls on the weekend.

    Don't feel bad - it's just skin. Not that it's any less gross - I have it too.
