Sorry for all the pumping questions today, but now that I know DD is happy at daycare this is my new thing to obsess about. LOL!
So DD takes 3 bottles while she is at daycare. But I send 4, just in case. Will I screw up my supply if I only pump twice while I am at work? I also pump once in the morning before DD gets up and I can sometimes squeeze in a session at night after she goes to bed.
So will it be a problem if I only pump twice while she's eating 3 times, even though I'm pumping 3-4 times total for the day (just at different times)?
Re: Will I screw up my supply?
I do get enough for her bottles. Yesterday I pumped enough for 4 bottles. She only ate 3 of the 4 that I sent with her to daycare, so now I have an extra. I usually pump between 3.5 and 5 ounces at each session and I've been sending her with 4oz bottles.
Pumping at work is so stressful that I'd like to minimize it as much as possible, even if it means I have to pump extra at home to make up for it.
